Terms and Conditions

  1. Scope of Application
    These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all deliveries made by Lichtarbeiter to consumers.
    A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for a purpose that is predominantly neither commercial nor related to their independent professional activity.
     
  2. Contracting Party
    The purchase contract is concluded with Lichtarbeiter, Owner: Jennifer Eichler, Emser Str. 3, 65307 Bad Schwalbach.
     
  3. Conclusion of the Contract
    1. The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but merely an invitation to place an order.
    2. By clicking the [Buy/Place Order] button, you are placing a binding order for the goods listed on the order page. Your purchase contract is concluded when we accept your order by sending an order confirmation via email immediately after receiving your order.
       
  4. Right of Withdrawal
    1. If you are a consumer (i.e., a natural person placing an order for a purpose that cannot be attributed to your commercial or self-employed professional activity), you are entitled to a right of withdrawal in accordance with statutory provisions.
    2. If, as a consumer, you exercise your right of withdrawal pursuant to Section 4.1, you must bear the standard costs of return shipping.
    3. In all other respects, the provisions set forth in detail in the following apply to the right of withdrawal:


      Withdrawal Policy

      Right of Withdrawal
      You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

      The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

      To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send a clear statement of your decision to withdraw from this contract to shop@lichtarbeiter.net. If you make use of this option, we will immediately send you (e.g., via email) a confirmation of receipt of such a withdrawal.

      To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

      Consequences of Withdrawal

      If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction for this refund, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

      You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and, in any case, no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires.

      You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

      You shall only be liable for any loss in value of the goods if such loss is attributable to handling of the goods that goes beyond what is necessary to ascertain their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

  5. Prices and Shipping Costs
    1. The prices listed on the product pages include statutory sales tax and other price components.
    2. Shipping costs are clearly stated again on the product pages, in the shopping cart, and on the order page.
       
  6. Delivery
    1. Delivery is available worldwide, provided this is permitted by law.
    2. Delivery time depends on the destination.
  7. Payment
    1. Payment can be made via prepayment, PayPal, credit card, or cash (only for in-person pickup).
    2. If you select prepayment as your payment method, we will provide you with our bank details in the order confirmation and ship the goods upon receipt of payment.
       
  8. Retention of Title
    The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
     
  9. Warranty for Material Defects
    Lichtarbeiter is liable for material defects in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, in particular Sections 434 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB).
     
  10. Dispute Resolution
    The European Commission has established an online platform for the resolution of disputes. The platform serves as a point of contact for the out-of-court resolution of disputes concerning contractual obligations arising from online sales contracts. Further information is available at the following link: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
